The first day of the NFL's legal tampering period was a busy one for the Birds, who reportedly traded for Jackson, added a different Jackson, and saw Nick Foles agree to a four-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The trade between the Eagles and the Buccaneers won't become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.

In addition to Jackson, the Eagles get a seventh-round draft pick in 2020, while a 2019 sixth-round pick heads to the Buccaneers, a source told Mortensen.

This would be the third year of a three-year, $33.5 million contract.

More details to come.

He has played the last two seasons in Tampa Bay. He has 589 catches for 10,261 yards and 53 touchdowns in his career.

He was voted to three Pro Bowls during his six-year tenure with the Eagles. The Eagles needed a consistent deep-threat at wide receiver.

For Agholor, it's stressful because the Eagles can cut him and owe him no further money. His playing time was reduced in the second half of last season, but he's still an effective interior pass-rusher.

While Tampa is seeking compensation in return for Jackson the week of free agency, this is usually a precursor to a player being released, and this looks like the likely conclusion of the Jackson saga as well.
