Gayle King arrives at The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation "Magical Evening" Gala on November 15, 2018 in New York City.

"This is the first I'm hearing, to be honest with you, that your parents are trying to get money from R. Kelly". Clary's family has also denied requesting or receiving money from Kelly.

He has not been convicted of any crimes in connection with any of the allegations. Kelly was arrested earlier this week for failing to pay more than $161,000 in child support and charged last month with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

During the interview, Kelly embarked on a monologue where he stood up, screamed and had to be restrained, and Gayle has now said she thinks she "witnessed a breakdown".

The negotiations come after King was complimented for the way she handled an emotional interview with R. Kelly.

"They say, he wants to say things that he has not said and I'm like, As a journalist, as a newsperson, this is newsworthy, he is going on record for the first time, yes I'll do the interview". "I never thought that he was going to hurt me or hit me", she said, at least not on goal. He did reveal that he's only spoken to Kelly once by phone to ask him about the welfare of his daughter and that Kelly told him that he needed to "trust the process", a possible reference to helping Joycelyn with her singing career.

Unfortunately, Kelly's own children - who are not much younger than his live-in girlfriends - can't say the same. "You believe some f***** facade and you can't see that because you are ignorant or stupid", she said. Not only do all of those services now offer CBS, but they all offer free-trials to new subscribers. "Why would I? How stupid would it be for R. Kelly, with all I have been through in my way, way past to hold somebody, let alone 4, 5, 6, 50 you said, how stupid would I be to do that?" "I know the type of monster he is, and I know he would cry at the drop of a dime, he's a great performer".

"I could see him getting more heated", she said.

"Yes - I did", she smiled at Colbert.

King proved unflappable as a crying Kelly leaped up in anger. "We both have our individual relationships with him, and we all are a family, all together", Clary told King.

Angelo Clary spokes to reporters alongside attorney Michael Avenatti on Friday and said he wants his daughter back and out of the embattled singer's control. "We don't know how the R. Kelly story is going to end, we really don't".

King asked R. Kelly point blank about the current state of his relationship with his kids, and he tearfully confessed, saying he has "zero" relationship with them, blaming that, in partc, on the "brainwashing" they received from his ex-wife, Andrea.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀.
