Clary's parents have not responded to their daughter's claims yet, however, in a press conference on Wednesday, an attorney for Savage's parents denied they ever received money from Kelly.

"She's not telling the truth", R. Kelly said. "We have our moments when we sit and watch movies all together, we go to amusement parks all together". He said he met Clary, 21, at one of his concerts when she was 17. "If he doesn't send $20,000 to this bank account by Monday, oh, I'm gonna put everything out there, and then $10,000 after that.'" said Clary.

The charges against Kelly and his interview with King followed the January debut of Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries. "All of the victims and parents can not be lying".

Detectives in Detroit are looking into the new allegation against the embattled R&B star, who is facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse in Chicago, according to CBS 2.

The parents of both women said they are only concerned about the well-being of their daughters, not money, and that Kelly's behavior during the interview was disconcerting.

Furthermore, the alleged victim said she visited Kelly at his Atlanta home "for a period of four years", during which time Kelly gave her herpes, when she as 17 years old.

He said his ex-wife was lying when she accused him of domestic abuse and his voice broke as he asked: "How can I pay child support if my ex-wife is destroying my name and I can't work?"

The clip aired less than a day after Kelly told a judge he could not pay $161,000 in owed child support for his three children, sending him back to jail.

Kelly has denied the charges, and his attorney, Steve Greenberg, has said his client is innocent.

As for the actual plausibility of reconnecting with his children, Drea Kelly has never once objected to the idea, even though she is on record as labeling her ex-husband a vile and underhanded individual.

David France, manager for Kelly's ex-wife Andrea Kelly, told the Chicago Sun-Times that the singer hadn't made a child support payment that was due by late Tuesday.

The two women also refuted their parents' claims they were aspiring singers.

The couple reconciled and the order was rescinded a few weeks later.

"Everything that she's saying is true. I just look at "legal".

On Wednesday's broadcast, Kelly's emotions swung wildly as he explained he was simply someone with a "big heart" who was betrayed by liars who hoped to cash in. "I didn't know what I was doing, didn't know what the hell was going on".

At one point during the interview, Kelly angrily stands up and starts pacing, his voice breaking as he yells, "I didn't to this stuff! Trust, I have been deeply affected by all of this".
