Pascal Le Segretain Chris Brown has been detained in Paris France according to police

Brown, 29, whose previous legal troubles include assaulting singer Rihanna in 2009, had remained in custody on Tuesday, a judicial source said. The sources said Brown and two others were released from custody, and the public prosecutor will continue investigating the complaints, which Brown denies.

After the unnamed 24-year-old woman filed a complaint, Brown was detained by the Paris police where he will reportedly stay for the following two days. Chris Brown is seen on January 17, 2019 in Paris, France.

Despite being scared, Karima said she ultimately chose to go to the police two days after she was allegedly raped because she didn't want the R&B singer to "be able to do the same things to other girls". Not only, Chris, reports have it, one of his bodyguards is also detained by the Paris Police.

Neither Brown nor his agents responded to requests for comment.

She has told police she met him in a nightclub near the Champs-Elysees avenue before agreeing to join other women who went back to his hotel, which is on the glitzy boutique-lined Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore.

Following news of his arrest, Brown took to Instagram to declare, in no uncertain terms, that his accuser is "lying", insisting the allegation "is false and a whole lot of [crap]". The alleged victim reportedly said she'd met Brown and members of his crew on the night of January 15, leading into January 16, while at the club Le Crystal in the city's 8th arrondissement.

"A total of three men were arrested at Brown's hotel".

Over the past few years, Breezy has had a few nasty run-ins with law enforcement.

He received five years probation and a community service order for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, in his auto in 2009.

Brown or his team have not released a statement on the recent arrest.
