Tiger Woods hits his first hole-in-one for 20 YEARS

Tiger Woods pens GolfTV deal

Tiger Woods back to where his grand revival began

Tiger Woods ended a 20-year wait for a hole-in-one last week while playing a practice round with Fred Couples. It was hard for me to maintain my strength and my weight through all of that. Trying to compete with the same game as Dustin Johnson or Rory McIlroy, who utilized the power game Woods once had, was not going to allow the now 42-year-old to win.

Woods held off Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose at September's Tour Championship for his 80th PGA Tour title and his first win in five years. "I'll be sharing stories and giving insight into my approach that has never been seen before", Woods added. That's ultimately what we want to happen.

Woods has so far only committed to play the Genesis Open at Riviera in February and the four majors in 2019.

Discovery, best known in the US for operating cable networks like Discovery Channel, TLC and OWN, has in recent months worked to snap up global sports rights for such things as the Olympics.

Soon-to-be 43, Tiger Woods is fighting an ageing body. "At every single tournament, it was just stifling".

This season, the FedEx Cup playoffs eliminated one tournament, and the Presidents Cup is not until December.
