The Duke of Sussex got a particularly warm welcome from one schoolboy as the royal tour made its way to the outback city of Dubbo.
Harry and Meghan are following in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth who visited Dubbo in 1954 and 1992.
The boy, who is a kindergarten at Buningyong Public School, seemed to be transfixed by Prince Harry's facial hair, sweetly stroking it before giving it a playful tug.
The royals began a 16-day Pacific tour on Monday, landing in Sydney and nearly immediately announcing the duchess´ pregnancy.
"When she heard she was coming to a family home, she had to bring a plate, so it was lovely", farmer Elaine Woodley said, referring to a dish to be shared.
For her first public engagement with Prince Harry in September past year, the Duchess of Sussex wore a "Husband" white shirt by close friend Misha Nonoo. You can't say anything negative.
Meghan wore a white dress by Australian designer Karen Gee (a style called the Blessed dress, fittingly), while Harry wore a suit alongside her.
The school principal admitted that the royal couple's visit was a "real morale boost" for the families and children there.
During a farm visit to meet the Woodleys, a family who have been affected by the devastating drought, Meghan brought along a loaf of homemade banana bread she had baked the night before while staying in Admiralty House.
It's fitting Meghan would choose to wear something of Diana's during her first royal tour.
"The brand alignment is just ideal - we couldn't ask for a better person to represent our brand than Meghan", Bartle said.
