Fortnite Season 5 is here and you need to search seven Lightning Bolts for one of the week one challenges. Completing all of this week's challenges will reward you with the first loading screen and this is where to find the battle pass tier on the map. Epic Games is using the tagline "World's Collide" to promote the latest season, and the trailer shows that a portion of the Californian desert has been transported into the Fortnite map. Beyond all of that, the roof of the All Terrain Kart serves as bounce pad, so this vehicle does a bit of everything.
The new season has also been preceded by Fortnite items, including Llamas and the Durr Burger sign appearing in real life locations around the world. Epic has brought some of them down to earth in the form of Rifts. The game made major updates, including three new locations. Passengers can also lean forward and back to manipulate the vehicle into maneuvering around objects and heighten jumps. The center of the 7th, 8th and 9th Storm circles can now shift in random directions instead of just simply shrinking. This should provide players with more information on why their point blank hits are only registering small damages.
They're not all that much faster than the shopping carts, and tip over quite easily. There will now be a delay when players switch from firing one shotgun to another. To rectify this, players can earn XP for reviving their teammates in 50v50 and Teams of 20 matches. The game continues with the last-player standing format, but adds its own twist that changes everything: you can instantly build walls and stairs, allowing you create fortifications to protect yourself.
Season 5 of Fortnite is finally here and the patch notes have already been released.
