For her first time at the race course, Meghan presented a trophy alongside her new husband to Frankie Dettori, for his triumph at the St. James's Palace stakes.

Queen Elizabeth led a royal procession that included Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Anne, and Harry's cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Meghan, 36, wore it with a white shirt dress from Givenchy, the house that designed her wedding gown.

Meghan appeared fairly relaxed for her first day at the races.

The palace said Harry and his wife are looking forward to learning more about Ireland's history and meeting people shaping its future.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join the Queen for a day of racing at Royal Ascot, a place the monarch has described as "this wonderful racecourse". But despite the closeness in proximity, choosing Ireland for their first tour overseas as a married couple is actually quite a big deal.
