An underage drinker got her head stuck in a vehicle tailpipe at a country music festival.
Her head was reportedly so crammed into the vehicle part that firefighters had to use an electric saw to free her.
The woman was eventually extracted with use of a power saw and removed from the premises following a citation for underage drinking, authorities say. Video of the unusual incident went viral, being viewed more than 3 million times on Facebook.
The McLeod County Sheriff's Department confirms she was cited for underage drinking and escorted from the grounds once her head was removed from the exhaust pipe, which was no easy task. "Yeah I'm the tail pipe girl, whatchu know about it?"
The 19-year-old told the Hutchinson Leader she was stuck for about 45 minutes until firefighters were able to cut the pipe and free her head.
'So I tried it.
"I'm just brushing it off, because that's expected to happen", she said.
Strom said while she's received a lot of criticism from people on line, she's also learned a valuable lesson. "But I trusted everyone who was around that I knew to get me out safely".
Strom added that she didn't know the owner of the truck.
The fire chief told the news station it was actually the second time the woman had put her head in the diesel truck's tailpipe that day.
There's no word on who's going to foot the bill for the impromptu modification to the truck's exhaust pipe.
