Microsoft is bringing Office 365 to Apple's Mac Store

Users are able to switch between light and dark mode. Unlike the Dark Mode introduced in Yosemite 2014 back, this re-introduced feature, turns the entire desktop interface dark. With Dark Mode enabled the built-in Mac apps like Mail, Messages, Maps, Calendar and Photos also appear on screen with a darker look. It's not the most revolutionary of features, but it'll be a welcome addition for late-night computing.

Out of the 1,100 AR apps on the App Store, about 80 of them are measuring apps - or 7%, according to research done by Randy Nelson, head of mobile insights at Sensor Tower, a mobile app analytics company. The new feature will automatically arrange all the files on the desktop into proper groups based on file type. A streamlined workflow also allows users to share screenshots without cluttering the desktop. It lets them set limits on how much time their kids can spend on any given app. "As with all Apple software updates, enhanced privacy and security remain a top priority in macOS Mojave", Apple notes.

The desktop App Store is getting a substantial redesign, bringing it closer in line with the iOS app store. The new design highlights new and updated apps in the Discover tab, while specific tabs for Create, Work, Play and Develop help users narrow their search down. The latest software updates come up with new features and bug fixes.

Furthermore, macOS 10.14 could bring a redesign of the Mac App Store as well, to make resemble what it did with the App Store with iOS 11, including video previews - this had been tipped before by John Gruber.

Look forward to video previews of apps as well as curated editorial content and tips from Apple's app experts.

Apple Inc. said Monday that its new iOS 12 will give users better Augmented Reality (AR) experiences and improved control of the time they spend interacting with their iOS devices. The WWDC 2018 event also revealed that Microsoft is going to launch Office 365 in the new store, and the Adobe will launch Lightroom CC through it as well. Along with these new third-party apps, Apple has also introduced four new apps: Home, News, Stocks, and Voice Memos. The new update also brings simplified system information that prevents you from being tracked on the web.

The new version is macOS 10.14 known as macOS Mojave to continue the naming scheme of California landmarks. The OS, which will power the MacBooks, and iMacs, will be reaching consumers in October or September, and is now available to developers as a beta update.
