At WWDC 18, Apple has introduced the next version of its Mac operating system dubbed as "macOS Mojave".

Safari now also automatically creates, autofills and stores strong passwords when users create new online accounts and flags reused passwords so users can change them.

Following this, there is a new feature for the desktop known as Dynamic Desktop.

Organization begins with the desktop as well. In addition to Dark Mode, Mojave will also introduce a Stacks feature that will help stack files into groups based on file type.

People who intensively use their Macs know the pain of a cluttered desktop.

The file preview, which is activated by selecting a file and pressing the Space key, receives new functions. You can also quickly view metadata of any file in a tab on the right-hand side of the Finder window.

What new features can I expect with this update?

You can group them together by app, topic, or thread. There will be video previews of apps in the App Store for macOS plus a redesigned UI like iOS had back in September of 2017.

The iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 public betas are coming soon.

Users now get new on-screen controls for easy access to every screenshot option and new video recording capabilities. The changes also apply to Apple's native mac apps, and there's a developer API for third party apps to gain the same style.

Parents can also set limits, using "Allowances" to allow their children ertain amounts of time on their devices.

Apple is also redesigning the macOS App Store to take design cues from the iOS store, bringing a unified design to all its platforms. The new app automatically provides the dimensions of objects like picture frames, posters and signs, and can also show diagonal measurements, compute area and allow users to take a photo and share it with accurate dimensions right from their iPhone or iPad.

You'll already see the first examples this merger on Apple's upcoming macOS 10.14 Mojave update, which will feature such apps as Apple News, Stocks, Voice Memos and Home. In 2016, Google said its Android mobile app store would run on the company's Chrome OS for personal computers, getting a similar thumbs-up from developers.

Create ML, a new tool to create machine learning tools without being a ML expert. One of the new features touted during the keynote yesterday is called Continuity Camera, which basically turns your iPhone into a camera extension for your Mac.
