It's hard to read too much into worldwide friendlies, but Gareth Southgate's side looked like World Cup contenders in the first half.

England's team has changed significantly since the 31-year-old Mikel left Chelsea for China's Tianjin Teda in January 2017, and he said: "This is a very young England team, the same as Nigeria". Victor Moses was the last to arrive camp and he has had just one training session with us and will have another today (Friday).

Nigeria like England has qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation, where they will play Croatia, Iceland, and Argentina.
