That said, Vodafone's ₹349 prepaid plan with 3 GB data per day is only available in select few circles like Gujarat, Assam, Mumbai, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Karnataka and North-East. Here are five best unlimited (voice or data) plans launched by BSNL recently under Rs 350.
Earlier, Vodafone had a prepaid plan of Rs 348 which offered 2.5GB per day along with free voice calls with a validity period of 28 days. The other pack Rs 569 offers unlimited local and STD voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 3GB data 3G/4G for 84 days. This unlimited 3G mobile data STV-248 plan will offer 3GB of 3G mobile data per day for 51 days during IPL 2018. The plan also comes with access to Jio's suite of apps, though users have to pay an extra Rs 99 for access to the Jio Prime service. We would like to mention, BSNL now offers 4G service in limited circles only. It has a validity of 28 days.
Apart from this, BSNL has also introduced three new recharge packs (Rs 118, Rs 379 and Rs 551) for prepaid customers providing somewhat similar offers like its peers.
The Rs. 198 plan has the same validity period with increased data of 56 GB with the usage of 2GB daily and same voice call and SMS offers, the Rs. 299 plan also offering the same except with increased data of 84GB with a daily limit of 3GB.
However, with the launch of new data packs BSNL has managed to stay afloat in telecom's heavy data, unlimited voice calls market. It is now available in Assam, Mumbai, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh West/East circles.
Airtel has Rs. 349 recharge pack that offers 3GB 4G data per day. The plans offer nationwide calling benefits, except for the Mumbai and Delhi circles.
Besides, Vodafone also has Rs 549 and Rs 799 plans that offer 3.5GB and 4.5GB 4G data per day, respectively. The Rs99 plan comes with 26 days validity, whereas the Rs 319 plan offers 90 days validity. The new plan with a difference of just one rupee will provide 500MB more data now. The validity of the Vodafone Prepaid Recharge plan 349 is 28 days.
