BJP chief spokesman Sunil Sethi confirmed to The New Indian Express that the two BJP ministers - Forest Minister Chaudhary Lal Singh and Minister for Commerce and Industries Chander Prakash Ganga - have submitted their resignation to the State party president. Crime branch was handed over the matter and 6-7 people were arrested.

"Then on October 30, 2017, the MLA's supporters filed a defamation case against the family of the rape victim in court and from there the fight between the two parties started".

He said both the ministers should have been sacked on the day one for giving communal color to shameful act of rape and murder. "And when the jail authorities sent him for a medical check-up, the CMO gave a wrong report that he was fit to be kept in jail", she said.

They had threatened a serious consequences and publcluy talked about jungle Raj opf the Kashmir police.

Condemnung their stands, Ms Lekhi said, 'We do not stand with individual people.

Party and government on Friday joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi in breaking their deafening silence on the Unnao and Kathua gang rapes, which have provoked nationwide outrage and a candlelight vigil at India Gate.

Sharma told PTI that a legislature party meeting of the BJP is scheduled for tomorrow in Jammu, which will take a call on their resignations.

He pointed out that Rs 1.57 crore and Rs 1.10 crore is spent per hour in running the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha respectively. "But she will not be denied justice", tweeted Singh about the eight-year-old in Kathua.
