Police say a man crashed a truck into a Florida house, claimed to be an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and threatened to shoot an officer. Officials say that's when a 2007 black Chevrolet Silverado that was eastbound on Midwestern Parkway did not yield to the officer and hit him.

DB Officer-in-charge Ashiqur Rahman said the gunfight took place around 2am on Wednesday at Gouripur. Several days later, he was arrested at Stateville Correctional Center where he works as a correctional officer, Roechner said. The woman said that a man had stolen her cell phone.

Police conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered a 9 millimeter pistol and what is suspected to be methamphetamine loaded in two syringes.

The accident took place on Tuesday afternoon when the officer, said to be assigned with the Traffic New Territories South Headquarters, was driving his private vehicle along the Sha Tin Heights section of Tai Po Road, heading towards Sha Tin, hk01.com reports.

The officer quickly moved away and called for backup.

"Obviously, there was severe rear-end damage, but we're not sure if it's a total loss just yet", she said.

The officers arrived at the scene and determined that the suspect fit the description of the man who had earlier taken the cell phone from the distraught woman. And then I looked out the back window.

Chris Crespin, a 49-year-old transient, was arrested at 8:38 a.m., according to Longmont police Sgt. Andy Feaster.
