The Swedish superstar forward kicked off his career with LA Galaxy in style, netting two spectacular goals in just 20 minutes to beat Los Angeles FC 4-3 in his debut in US Major League Soccer on Saturday.

Ibrahimovic's first touch came in the 73rd minute and helped lead to a goal by Chris Pontius on a header to pull to 3-2.

The Swede then headed home Ashley Cole's cross in stoppage time to seal a 4-3 win for the Galaxy in an extraordinary finale that lived up to the hype surrounding the striker's arrival from Manchester United. "I was just waiting to come in because when you're losing 3-0 the adrenaline is pumping even more because you want to be able to do something, help the team, especially when they're in a hard situation". I wasn't going to let that stop today.

"Don't worry about my age; when I came to England they all said I was old".

Suddenly the Galaxy dared to dream of an improbable comeback, and when Ibrahimovic thundered home his equaliser on 77 minutes the home side had drawn level. You can't do something brilliant unless you dare to be brilliant, and Ibrahimovic is a ideal definition of the guy who always dares to be brilliant.

It was a stunning reversal after the first meeting between the first-year expansion team and five-time MLS Cup winners looked as if it would be a rout in favor of the newcomers, with Carlos Vela scoring twice in the first half.

Ibrahimovic then popped up with a victor in the 91st minute.

Ibrahimovic as a free agent he moved to the MLS from "Manchester United". Victor by 1-0 and 5-1 in its first games on the road, LAFC jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead and led 3-0 after an hour.

The Mexican struck again 21 minutes later from close range when Galaxy keeper David Bingham fell down and Vela hit the top of the crossbar before the ball landed over the line.

On the bench, Ibrahimovic bowed his head in his hands, and it got worse when Steres turned in an own goal early in the second half to put LAFC 3-0 ahead.
