And while their ceremony will be a little more high-brow than your average commoner's, Meghan Markle spent her bridal shower doing what every woman wants to do before her wedding: getting pampered.

The 45-minute service was held at Chapel Royal by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who used holy water from the River Jordan to administer the holy sacrament, in accordance with royal tradition.

The ceremony on Tuesday was small and intimate, with only 18 guests in attendance, including her fiancé Harry and future parents-in-law, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Though the Suits actress has lost almost all of the anonymity she may have had before she and Prince Harry announced their engagement in November, that hasn't stopped her from exploring her new city.

In a sweet gesture, Meghan embraced the aspiring actress with a heartwarming hug before telling her to follow her dreams.

Burrell is also positive about the younger generations of royal that include Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle. Prince Harry immediately brought her over to chat with his favorite Suits star so she could offer some words of encouragement.

The future royal stepped out in the two-tone wool blend coat which she wore with cigarette trousers, a cosy cream knit (a little research uncovered it as the Ridley jumper from All Saints) and high heels.

The royal couple received a huge round of applause from the 90 female students as they made their way to their next event.

That wasn't the couple's only brush with encouraging young women on IWD. It was recently revealed they had invited members of the public to their wedding day too. They also took a trip to the Nechells Wellbeing Centre to join the sports mentorship organization Coach Core's apprentices as they take part in a training class.
