"There is great demand for travel between these attractive cities, and we're sure that folks will take advantage of our convenient, ultra-low cost, nonstop service to enjoy all that Music City has to offer".
For these new Allegiant flights, one-way fares are "as low as $68", according to an Allegiant news release.
Seats are limited. Price includes taxes and fees. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com. Flights must be purchased by March 8, 2018 for travel by August 8, 2018.
The new routes will be operated twice a week, the release states. With the addition of this new Orlando route, Allegiant will now serve four cities from Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
"Over the last several years Allegiant has made a tremendous investment in our destination, deploying more and more aircraft while expanding significantly into our shoulder seasons", Van Moppes said.
Orlando will be the fourth leisure destination to which Las Vegas-based Allegiant flies to from Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
One-way tickets start at a cost of $45. Cathryn Stephens, the assistant airport director, said they have been working on getting non-stop flights to popular destinations around the country, and are excited to have more flights available to passengers.
