Two of the most magical things in the world are joining forces - unicorns and marshmallows.
For the first time in 10 years, Lucky Charms is adding a new marshmallow to its magically delicious lineup.
"We made a decision to introduce a new charm with the help of the keepers of magic themselves - kids", Josh DeWitt, marketing manager of Lucky Charms, said in a press release.
Fans of Lucky Charms seem to be ecstatic over this announcement, taking to Twitter to express their overzealous excitement. Last year, General Mills gave away 10,000 boxes of Lucky Charms with just the marshmallows - a far larger amount than the 10 boxes it released in 2015. The new unicorn charms have already begun to appear in boxes of Original and Chocolate Lucky Charms cereals and will be available more widely at major grocery retailers and big box stores in March. It features frosted oats and colored marshmallows.
The unicorn will join the staple marshmallow shapes, which include hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, rainbows and red balloons, according to USA Today.
