Today, the party of Lincoln is under the influence of a president that creates more open divisions, on motives of race, ethnic groups, religion and culture than any other in our modern history, said the daily in the text titled "The Sad Reality of this President's Day". This is because while most states have adopted Washington's Birthday, some states officially celebrate Presidents' Day.

Traditionally, it later recognized Abraham Lincoln's birthday, February 12.
