Natalie Portman Defends the Star Wars Prequels in Foul-Mouthed SNL Rap

SNL: Watch Natalie Portman Rap About Star Wars Prequels as Andy Samberg Returns

Natalie Portman drops sequel vulgar rap video on SNL

When Bennett asks if she's seen the latest Star Wars films, she cuts him off when he begins to say that they're better than the prequels, prompting her to threaten someone with a gun while in full Padmé Amidala throne room garb, telling them to say something nice about the prequels and Jar Jar Binks.

Natalie Portman made her triumphant rap return to Saturday Night Live last night, and this time it was even more wonderfully off-brand.

Catch Portman later this month when Annihilation hits theaters February 23. In 2006, Natalie first rapped on the show, where she bragged about constantly being drunk and cheating on tests.

"Portman, Portman, Portman, Portman, Portman, Portman", she starts.

Natalie Portman has returned to guest host Saturday Night Live for the first time in 12 years, making her much-anticipated rap comeback.

Other Portman highlights from this week's show include her opening monologue, which played off of NBC's upcoming Winter Olympics coverage. "Say something about the motherfucking prequels, bitch", she raps. And on this week's SNL, Portman came back with an update, more graphic than before and throwing Beck Bennett through a window. Her jokes received slow-motion analysis and running play-by-play from Kenan Thompson and Kate McKinnon.

The former first ladies gave the current one some advice on dealing with a philandering husband while in the White House.

In addition to Samberg's cameo in the digital short, Alec Baldwin appeared as President Donald Trump in the cold open and Rachel Dratch and Tina Fey reunited for a Super Bowl-inspired sketch.
