Donald Trump's hotel in Washington, D.C. got a makeover this weekend when the word "sh*thole" was projected on to the front of the building, along with copious amounts of poop emojis.
Scatological comment projected on wall of Trump Hotel Saturday night, apparently by Robin Bell, who has been credited with similar acts previously.
"The president distracts us from politics that are harming us", Bell added in his expletive-laden protest projection.
"Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people", the statement read.
This comes after President Donald Trump received criticism this past week, after reports circulated that he allegedly referred to immigrants from Haiti and "s***hole countries" in Africa when speaking on immigration reform during an Oval Office conversation.
As seen in a Periscope livestream, a longer message mocked Trump and his supporters and called for others to stand against white supremacy.
The man behind it was Robin Bells, whose Twitter bio describes him as an "award-winning editor, video journalist, and multimedia artist based in Washington DC".
In the past, Bell has used projections to voice concerns about some of the biggest headlines of the Trump era, including, and.
The report said that after Trump was told that representatives of nations like Haiti and El Salvador were in attendance, he asked: "Why are we having all these people from sh*thole countries come here?"
The comments were slammed by the United Nations, who labelled them "racist" as well as "shocking and shameful".
"You can not dismiss entire countries and continents as 's***holes, ' whose entire populations, who are not white, are therefore not welcome".
