Mumbai: A fire broke out in the sessions court building in south Mumbai's Fort today.
One body has been recovered from the Cinevista studio in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg suburb, where a massive fire broke out on Saturday evening, reported ANI. No casualties have been reported so far. Reportedly, it was a level three fire, but now the situation is under control. By the time fire engines reached the spot in around 15 minutes, the fire had spread over a ground plus one building, and had covered nearly 3,000 sq ft. Well, the officials aren't saying anything because in Investigating is going on but a deep source is saying that the fire emerged due to short circuit from a generator in the studio.
Reports state that the fire started during the shooting of the TV serial, "Bepanah". However, since it was early morning, there were not much people and later even the court operations in the day went on without any disturbance.
In yet another incident on January 4, four persons, including two children, were killed and five others seriously injured after an upper floor of a residential building in suburban Marol caught fire. Fire officials said the first call was made around 7.50 this morning. "Nearly 150 people had been evacuated", said deputy chief fire officer Shyam Kharbade.
