Brad Pitt Bid $120000 to Watch 'Game of Thrones' With Emilia Clarke

He bid $80,000 on a Josh Smith painting, but was outbid by Emilia Clarke.

Sean Penn's gala dinner and auction to benefit the J/P Haitian Relief Organization took place at Milk Studios in Los Angeles Saturday.

After bidding $120,000, Brad Pitt lost in a charity auction to watch an exclusive screening of "Game of Thrones" with two of its main characters.

Emilia Clarke's "Game of Thrones" co-star Kit Harington said he'd watch the show with the victor as well.

The first bid to watch an episode of the popular series with the "Mother of Dragons and Daenerys of House Targaryen started with $20,000 but escalated quickly". Pitt initially bid $80,000 and then outbid himself to $90,000. He apparently was, but in the restroom, however, when he re-entered the room he agreed to sit in on the episode viewing. However, Pitt's bid proved to be unsuccessful after an unidentified individual outbid him to claim the prize for $160,000. Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Lena Dunham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Segel, Connie Britton, Patricia Arquette, Mark Burnett, Roma Downey and Leonardo DiCaprio, who was honored for his work fighting climate change, were also at the event. The network recently confirmed that Season 8 of the HBO series will arrive next year. There was a second Smith painting available and in the end both, DiCaprio and Clarke ended up walking away with artwork.
