Late Night hosts are already campaigning for the honor of being awarded what Stephen Colbert dubbed a "Fakie".

The November 27th tweet by Trump stated, "We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me)".

On December 28th Trump in an email to his fans and supporters started "King of Fake News" trophy. "The good news is, despite his threats to Korea, at least he thinks we're going to make it until Monday".

Mr Trump hit back on Twitter, writing: "I think [I] would qualify as not smart, but genius.and a very stable genius at that!"

Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah have been open about their desire to take home a piece of coveted hardware from the first inaugural awards, whose time, location, and categories have yet to be announced.

It also says the Trump campaign did not expect to win the USA election and Trump himself was "befuddled" by the result, that he was angry A-list stars snubbed his inauguration, and that he found the White House "scary".
