Stylist Allegedly Gave Fidgeting Customer a 'Three Stooges' Haircut

Police Arrest Barber Accused of Snipping Ear, Shaving Bald Patch

State Street hairdresser arrested after violent cut

A barbershop dispute in Wisconsin landed a barber in handcuffs.

The barber also allegedly snipped man's ear with scissors before shaving a bald strip down the middle of his head, the man said.

Police arrested 46-year-old Khaled A. Shabani at Ruby's Salon in Madison, Wisconsin, after the alleged incident, which they said occurred on December 22.

It all started when a customer went to get a haircut.

The 22-year-old customer walked into Ruby's Salon on December 22 with a simple request: Shave the sides of his head with a No. 2 clipper and cut an inch of hair off the top, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain accused Shabani of twisting the customer's ear because he was fidgeting and moving around.

The stylist was later arrested on suspicion of mayhem and disorderly conduct while armed.

The customer had his head completely shaved by a different stylist before Christmas, according to the State Journal. Shabani claims it was an accident blown out of proportion.
