Reliance Jio announced this special benefits for JIO PRIME customers include triple cashback of up to Rs. 2,599 on every recharge of Rs. 399 or above. According to the Jio website, the speed of internet gets reduced to 64 Kbps after the exhaustion of daily 4G data limits.
This pack of Rs. 198 offers unlimited local and STD voice calls and 1GB data per day at just Rs. 198 which will be valid for 28 days. This plan clearly is an attempt by Vodafone to compete with Jio, which still is ahead in terms of the offerings for the same money. The new Jio 199 and 299 Happy New Year plans offer higher data when compared to the Rs.149 plan while retaining all the other benefits.
Vodafone has announced its ₹198 tariff plan for prepaid customers that offers 1 GB of 3G/4G data per day for 28 days, which translates to a total of 28 GB of 3G/4G data. Jio introduced two new plans as a part of its "Happy New Year 2018" offer- Rs 199 and Rs 299. Validity for both plans is 2GB per day. This prepaid recharge plan comes bundled with free and unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Airtel's plan has the benefit of being available for 3G customers as well. Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular too offer packs with similar benefits.
Reliance Jio's "Happy New Year 2018 offer" has two new plans. The validity of this prepaid recharge plan is 84 days. Additionally, they will get 2800 SMSes with a daily cap of 100 SMS per day. All plans of Jio comes with unlimited data usage after the daily data limit usage is over. Another difference is the unlimited data usage after the daily limit. With 1GB data per day and unlimited calling, the plans will take care of all their communication needs,"Avneesh Khosla - Associate Director -Consumer Business, Vodafone India, said in a statement". Both plans come with a validity of 28 days and are one of the cheapest in the category.
