Deceptively simple in design but epically engaging, Hearthstone will be instantly accessible to players regardless of their familiarity with Warcraft or collectible card games.
According to Eurogamer, the expansion will introduce 135 new cards as well as free single-player content which anyone can access for free. There is also the "For the Hoard" card back in the mix, which becomes available as soon as the purchase takes place. It's very different from "I don't have a card I can add to my deck now and make a certain deck type".
We're on the eve of another Hearthstone expansion, with Kobolds & Catacombs banging on the dungeon door to be let in on December 7 with a batch of new cards and a brand new mode. Players start with a novice deck from their class of choice and face a series of progressively stronger foes, randomly selected from a huge pool of unique bosses. Blizzard announced that players can earn three card packs through Dungeon Runs and three more simply by logging on after "Kobolds and Catacombs" is released. In addition, players can score three more card packs by completing three "sequential one-time Dungeon Run quests".
Immediately after release, players will receive one Legendary Weapon card and 3 Kobolds & Catacombs card packs free.
You can pre-order 50 Kobolds and Catacombs card packs right now for the discounted price of £44.99.
