Were consumers as engaged as ever or has Black Friday been diluted in the United Kingdom with most retailers running sales over a 10 day period combined with the economy leaving shoppers with less cash in their pockets?
McQuistion says they're also focusing on better customer service as a way to retain shoppers. An order placed online but picked up in a store counts as a digital sale, but would the customer have still placed the order if the item could not have been picked up?
So they're getting creative with the deals.
With more than $30 billion in sales so far this month, it's impossible to ignore the online shopping revolution.
