'We have so many games at the moment, and I prefer to focus on the team's matches, my own performances, and there will be time enough towards the end of the season to have talks'.

"Regarding my contract, that's something where Chelsea must deal with my agent".

Chelsea have not returned to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois with a fresh offer since he rejected a new contract with the club in May, it has been claimed. "I don't think there have been any new developments." said Courtois.

Should they change their minds at the end of the season, Courtois or the Spain global would be the prime candidates.

Courtois spent two years on loan at Atletico Madrid and is believed to be keen on a return to La Liga.

Speaking of his current contract status, Courtois frankly admitted in a press conference, "The most important thing is to perform well for myself and the team". Real, however, are also monitoring 27-year-old David De Gea's situation at Manchester United.

Courtois is not rushing to resolve his future.

However, despite his successes at Chelsea, rumours linking Courtois with a return to Spain have never fully died down, with Atletico's fierce rivals Real Madrid having always been reported to hold an interest in the Belgian.

Courtois, 25, has won two Premier League titles and a League Cup with Chelsea, but the warmer weather of Spain often proves tempting for Europe's biggest stars.

There has been no new contact between the club and the player's representatives since then as the talk of his long term future at the club continue to swirl around Stamford Bridge.
