Manushi Chhillar clinched the crown for India at a glittering event in Arenam, China Manushi Chhillar, a medical student from Haryana, is the new Miss World. As you all know that 17 years ago Priyanka Chopra won the title of Miss World 2017 and created good records for the Indian people.
Winning hearts all across the globe, India's Manushi Chhillar was crowned as Miss World 2017 on November 18.
Miss World 2016 victor Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle gave away the coveted crown to the victor. England and Mexico were announced as first and second runner up respectively. Soon after her victory was declared, millions took to twitter to congratulate the 21-year-old. Manushi was also the victor of Miss India 2017.
For her final question she was asked which profession in the world deserves the highest salary and why, she replied saying, "My mother has been my biggest inspiration, so I have to say, a mother's job".
She said a mother deserves it most. Congratulations @ManushiChhillar yipeeeee about time! super proud! There were total 121 participates all over the world and Manushi won the title.
Manushi, who is still finding it hard to believe her triumph, has dedicated it to the country. Previous winners of the pageant include Aishwariya Rai, Diana Hayden, Yukta Mookhey and Priyanka Chopra.
