Ravens have golden opportunity in Week 5 with Steelers losing

Since 2015, the Steelers are 9-5 against the spread as the home favorite, which is third best in the National Football League in this category. Fournette finished with 181 yards and two touchdowns, and slammed the door shut on the Steelers with a 90-yard, soul crushing touchdown run with under two minutes to play. Jason Myers missed the extra point and the Jaguars led 13-9.

With his first game of multiple pick-sixes since 2006 against the Oakland Raiders, Roethlisberger hasn't quite looked like himself since early 2016. One possession later, safety Barry Church's 52-yard interception return for a touchdown pushed the Jaguars' lead to 20-9. It was Smith's second career touchdown.

The Jags picked off the veteran Pittsburgh quarterback an astounding FIVE times - and returned two of them for touchdowns.

The game still in doubt, the Jaguars delivered arguably their drive of the year. However, their run defense is allowing 165.5 yards per contest. Twelve times in all. However, the Steelers did post their most rushing attempts (43) as well as rushing yards (173) last week against the Ravens.

This week, the Jaguars travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers, who have one of the league's most balanced offenses; the unit ranks seventh overall, seventh in passing and seventh in rushing.

Pittsburgh went right to work. The Steelers were forced to punt to start the fourth quarter after defensive end Dante Fowler sacked Roethlisberger on third down. Boswell's 29-yard field goal made it 3-0. Pittsburgh is a completely different team at home than on the road, and with their defense playing at a high level, it will be hard for Jacksonville to stay within eight in this one. It's no surprise, then, that the Lions rank second from the bottom in net penalty yards with -125 - and a similar performance this weekend could spell trouble for the hosts. Brown is actually having a good year, as he has 30 catches for 388 yards.

Fournette joined Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor as the only tailbacks in Jaguars history to score a touchdown in five straight games.

Strong, whom the Jaguars claimed off waivers on September 19 from Houston, suffered a hamstring injury on a diving catch in his first practice with the Jaguars and missed the team's next five practices.

The easiest way to beat the Jaguars is by forcing quarterback Blake Bortles to beat you.

It's a battle of division leaders at Ford Field this Sunday as the Lions host the Panthers in a showdown of 3-1 teams. Collectively, the Steelers offense laid an egg this week. Pittsburgh enters Week 5 first place in the the AFC North. The Bortles-Hurns connection was followed up by a 12-yard run from Fournette.
