After a cloudy start, skies will gradually clear and the high will be near 72.
The National Weather Service said showers and maybe thunderstorms are expected Thursday night through Saturday night, with over an inch of rain falling in that time frame in Madison.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Between a tenth and quarter-inch of rain is possible. Northeast wind 5 to 10 miles per hour becoming southwest after midnight.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear - low around 57. Overnight: Becoming mostly cloudy with a chance for showers.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures continue for Wednesday, with a high of 82 degrees. South wind 7 to 10 miles per hour. Partly cloudy - low around 66.
Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers. We will continue to keep the mild temps through the evening staying in the mid to high 70's and then reaching the 60's overnight.
That same forecast gets the north valley through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service said Saturday and Sunday are to be sunny with a slight chance of showers Saturday and highs in the lower to mid-70s. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees. North wind around 5 miles per hour becoming calm in the evening. Southeast wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Monday Night: 40 percent chance of showers/thunderstorms, mainly after 1 am.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy and cool.
Sunday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 68.
Friday - Partly sunny skies with isolated showers to develop into scattered showers & thunderstorms with a 40% chance of rainfall. Winds could gust as high as 20 miles per hour. North wind around 5 miles per hour.
