For maps, it includes 18 locations spanning from three generations of Star Wars. On consoles, you'll also be able to team up with a friend or battle against one another in split screen versus.
EA took to two separate posts to detail various Star Wars: Battlefront 2 maps and modes. That's just an amuse-bouche for Arcade Mode in the full version of the game, however. The single-player has a different set of locations, such as Bespin, Sullust, Pillio, and Vardos.
The footage also gives glimpses of the heroes we've seen before like Darth Maul, as well as quick look at the various classes in the game including assault, heavy, officer, and specialists. A new trailer for the game's November sequel makes clear that, yeah, that last game was more short on content than the second Death Star.
EA has released a new trailer for "Star Wars Battlefront 2" highlighting all of the maps and game modes, including the new Arcade mode. A mode called Heroes vs. Villains will pit good guys versus bad guys in 4v4 battles.
Star Wars Battlefront II is about to open the beta servers floodgates, with pre-order customers getting access to the test from October 6th on all platforms.
