Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon Pack (February 2018, £8.09): numerous characters and other items in this DLC pack hail from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.
If you, for some reason, thought the cast for forthcoming hack-and-slash Fire Emblem Warriors was too small, Nintendo has announced the dates and prices for post-launch downloadable characters and weapons. The email included the line "all DLC can be purchased separately for both Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS systems", so if you're some sort of Musou fiend get ready to pony up twice.
As detailed by Gematsu the first DLC pack, Fire Emblem Fates, will be released by the end of this year.
Over the space of four months, from December 2017 to March 2018, the upcoming title will receive three DLC packs that will expand on the game.
Nintendo is promising more details on the specifics of each DLC pack in the near future.
Fire Emblem Warriors is due out on September 29 in Japan and October 20 in North America. These will give players weapons or materials but only up to five different compatible amiibos can be tapped per day.
Additionally, amiibo collectors will be happy to learn that two new amiibo figures for the game will be arriving, based on the characters of Chrom and Tiki. It'll feature a boxed version of the Nintendo Switch game, along with character cards, a colorful poster and a CD music set.
