You know who's a good Marvel character for a fighting game?
The four aforementioned fighters join Sigma and Black Panther to round out the first wave of DLC characters. 4 of them are from Marvel while the rest are from Capcom. For now, players will have to make due with Infinite's 30 characters and the aforementioned Black Panther and Sigma. The addition of Black Widow means that all six superheroes featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers movies will be playable in the new game. While the game will be launching with a large roster of characters, the developer revealed four more that will be coming later this year. With Monster Hunter, however, it's not clear what fans should expect here, seeing as the character is customizable and available as both male and female in the Monster Hunter franchise.
We liked the game in our review but its biggest problem is the predictable roster of characters, with only five brand new ones and no characters that Marvel does not own the film rights to.
There have been numerous leaks about the potential DLC characters for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite but now Capcom has directly confirmed the list for the upcoming DLC and there are a few surprise additions in it. Those that pre-order the Deluxe or Collector's edition can gain instant access to the 2017 character pass.
