Pfeiffer ends break with Mother! role

Jennifer Lawrence Says She Is Becoming Less Interested In Motherhood The Older She Gets

Jennifer Lawrence thinks her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky is "brilliant"

The 27-year-old actress and 48-year-old director attended the NY premiere of their movie "mother!" Mother! is a horror film starring Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem as a couple who take in a mysterious couple, played by Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris, into their home.

Asked if she's thinking about taking a break from acting, Lawrence said "I'm taking one". She was a very vocal critic of Trump and his supporters during the presidential campaign, even claiming that Trump's election would mark the world's end.

There's one thing we know Lawrence won't be doing during her break - and that's starting a family. "I've been a fan of his for years. Can we just put them all on an island?" "My casting director mentioned that she was interested in working again".

Lawrence announced the news while talking with Savannah Guthrie on the Today show.

But despite the age gap, the "Hunger Games" star has nothing but kind words to say about her director and partner. "But that's what makes it a masterpiece and that's what makes Darren so brilliant and that's why I've always wanted to work with him".

The Golden Globe victor seems to think she won't last two years away from movie making, telling Savannah: 'I'll see you in six months'. Lawrence, who exudes a stunning combination of innocence and watchful wisdom, pads through the characters' eight-sided house with the same alarm as Mia Farrow four decades ago, but also with more assurance and self-possession as the stakes of her fight become not just higher, but surreally so.

[People] feel so entitled to everything.

"I've been in relationships before where I am just confused", she told Vogue. "I was angry and resentful because I thought that I deserved the right to do what I love and to do my job, and then still have privacy".

The warnings for "Mother!" just keep coming. I don't go home like, 'Oh my god!
