Some reports say the CEO of the Ryan schools group is also being questioned.

The protesters also gathered in front of the school demanding a CBI probe in the murder.

The vile murder has landed a school bus conductor in jail, who seemingly has confessed to his crime-police custody confessions are not admissible in court.

Pradhuman, a Class 2 student, was found dead by a school staff in the washroom with his throat slit. Ryan Pinto and his parents have filed an anticipatory bail plea in Bombay High Court.

After registering an FIR against the management of Ryan International School, Gurugram, police on Monday arrested two top school officials in the Pradyuman's murder case.

The regional head Francis Thomas and HR head Jeyus Thomas were arrested by Gurugram Police on Sunday night. "Acting principal Neerja Batra has been detained and is being questioned". "Despite taking all necessary steps for security and well-being of the students as required by law and prudence, if such an unfortunate incident occurs, the institution can not be held culpable as it is itself a victim of unfortunate circumstances", they said. Security has been beefed up at the school premises.

Several angry parents, on Monday, protested outside three branches of Ryan International School seeking security for their children inside and outside school premises. "During the five-hour-long probe, the SIT photographed all the crime scene, collected samples for forensic analysis and finger prints also and tried to scientifically analyse all possible angles of crime", a senior police officer told PTI.

He further assured that he will try his best to file the charge sheet in the court by Saturday, in regard to the matter.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to look into the murder case of a seven-year-old Gurugram student pointed out serious security lapses in the school. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have denied knowledge about the presence of the Gurugaon Police in the city.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has asserted that there will be no leniency and the school management will be held accountable.

The report by the investigative team also highlighted that the CCTV cameras of the school weren't working properly and were not installed everywhere.

Incidentally, in a letter dated 30 March 2017, Dr A.F. Pinto, chairman of the Ryan group, addressing Class 10 students, had said, "During your schooling with us, you have been constantly motivated, guided and instilled values to become a responsible citizen and global leader".
