After releasing the Soft Gold edition for the OnePlus 5 earlier this month, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has announced that the Slate Gray edition of the phone will now be available in the 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage variant. The Slate Gray and the newly introduced Soft Gold had been limited only to the 6 GB RAM variant. Like the Midnight Black, this one is also priced at Rs. 37,999. The OnePlus 5, Slate Grey colour model has been priced at Rs 37,999, and interested buyers can get the phone from Amazon India during OnePlus Super Seller Week on the e-commerce site from August 21 to August 25. It appears to be available in all markets OnePlus is now officially offering its products. While OnePlus 3T buyers will get a free protective case. For instance, OnePlus 5 users can get Rs 2000 off on Exchange, No Cost EMI options on credit cards, and Rs. 1500 on the use of Amazon Pay Account, American Express card or Amazon Gift Card. Originally, the OnePlus 5 had just a midnight black color variant on launch. The OnePlus 5 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS 4.5, the company's latest home-brewed OS version.

OnePlus 5 offers dual rear-facing camera (13 MP + 16 MP) with features like Portrait mode, 2x lossless zoom and 4K video recording capability with (EIS) electronic image stabilisation. There is a 16MP -20MP sensor at the back while a 16MP camera sits on the front.

There is no MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. OnePlus 5 was launched on June this year. The device draws the power from a 3300mAh battery with the Dash Charge technology.
