However, the star of the 6 part movie, Tom Cruise, according to TMZ sustained an injury while attempting a building jump stunt on the set of Mission Impossible 6.

When filming Edge of Tomorrow in 2014, he avoided an accident after co-star Emily Blunt was in a high-speed driving scene.

In the video, Cruise, 55, can be seen leaping off of a platform onto the roof of a building, but coming up just short, crashing into the side of the building instead of landing on top of it.

And while the last thing he probably wants to do is glide through the air between two buildings again, his only way to treatment is to be pulled on his harness back to the scaffolding, where other members of the team help him as he limps away.

Tom Cruise is known for performing his own stunts in movies, but the danger is completely real.

In addition to the rooftop leaping scenes, Cruise has also been filming unsafe stunts in Paris, reports The Telegraph, including one in which he slams a motorcycle into a auto before flipping through the air.

This mission wasn't quite possible for Tom Cruise.
