Carpool Karaoke The Series Debute Hits Apple Music

Carpool Karaoke The Series

Liam Gallagher refuses to appear on Carpool Karaoke with 'k**bhead' James Corden

The 20-episode series made popular on the "Late Late Show" is available Tuesdays on Apple Music.

It seemed Linkin Park filmed the episode, reportedly set to air in October, just days before Bennington took his own life.

He was then informed by his partnet Debbie Gwyther that he'd never watched the segement, to which LG responded "I don't need to watch it to know I won't like it. James Corden is a knobhead".

During the episode Smith revealed that he only pretended to recognise Corden during their first meeting.

Speaking about the possibility playing Obama, he said: "I talked to Barack about it". Unlike the segment on James Corden's show, the series will change up the host each week.

And with one particularly random question, we learn that Smith has been asked to play Barack Obama, and that the former president gave his blessing.

Next week's episode, for instance, will feature Alicia Keys and John Legend, plus Metallica and Billy Eichner. The full version of Carpool Karaoke on Apple Music will include more songs, including the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, of course.

Smith said of being in high school while launching his rap career, "I had a record on the radio for the last 30 days as a senior. you can not beat your friends in high school knowing you have a hit record on the radio".

"Hey, it's movie night guys, I've rented Wild, Wild West", Corden tells Smith, referencing the poorly reviewed movie Smith started in in 1999.

The singer filmed an episode of the new show before his death.

The Late Late Show host opened up about the late star while attending the Apple Music launch party for his new Carpool Karaoke: The Series show in West Hollywood.
