Microsoft Surface Plus Financing Program Lets You Upgrade Very 18 Months

Microsoft launches Surface Plus upgrade plan

Microsoft Announces Surface Plus For Business Program

Once you buy a Surface device with Surface Plus, you can choose to upgrade to the latest Surface device after 1 and a half years of usage.

With Surface Plus, students and other Surface customers can purchase a Surface device with an easy, 24-month payment plan at 0% April.

Starting today, anyone who buys a Surface Laptop, Surface Pro, Surface Book, or Surface Studio online at and in Microsoft stores, will be enrolled in the program.

To align with the back to school theme, the company also announced a new Surface Plus program, a financing program to help students and businesses take advantage of Microsoft Surface.

"Surface is designed to help people better create, collaborate, learn, and get things done", Microsoft's Liz Hamren explains.

With Surface Plus, customers in the United States can buy any of the latest Surface devices with a 24-month payment plan at an April of only 0%.

Surface Plus also gives you access to service and support, including a training session, at Microsoft Stores and the option to add the Microsoft Complete extended service plan.

Dedicated Service & Support: Surface Plus offers best in class service and support from Microsoft Stores.

The push to boost Surface adoption comes amid declining sales of Microsoft hardware for the past three quarters. Subject to credit approval, regular consumers looking into Surface Plus will be able to purchase Surface hardware on a 24-month plan with 0 percent April.

Surface Plus for Business lets SMBs add as many devices as needed, and a mix of models, to a single agreement.

Small and medium sized businesses, meanwhile, can enjoy Surface Plus for Business. Businesses can also expand or reduce their device fleet mid-term. For an extra $US8.25 per device per month, Surface Plus business buyers will also get the Office 365 suite.

It's unclear how much money people will save through the upgrade because it depends on the kind of Surface device involved.
