For every dollar that the average man working in the White House earns, the average female employee earns just 80 cents, says CNN.

According to an analysis of salary information for the White House's 377 staffers, the average salary for men is about $104,000 a year, roughly $20,000 higher than the women's average annual earnings of about $84,000.

The White House gender pay gap has nearly doubled since Barack Obama left office and is also higher than the USA average. Only six of the highest paid 22 employees are women, according to the network. Men earn about $106,000 a year, while women bring home roughly $73,000.
