Powerball is a multi-state lottery game that operates in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The drawing did, though, produce almost 45,000 winning tickets in Virginia.
A $2 ticket gives you a one in 292.2 million chance at joining the hall of Powerball champions.
Most people who buy tickets let the machines pick the numbers at random for them.
