The Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime were launched in China in November a year ago, alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, which has been available in India since March. Speaking of its price, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 actually comes in several variants to India, the phone will be available in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM variants, which will come with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, respectively.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi on 16 May launched its Budget smartphone Redmi 4 in India.
Coming to Specifications of Redmi 4, It has a metal unibody design and sports a 5-inch (12.7 cm) HD Display with resolution (720 x 1280 pixels). Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-core processor and an Adreno 505 GPU, Redmi 4 offers high-performance gaming and multitasking.
Buoyed with the success of the Redmi Note 4 (Rs9,999 onwards) and Redmi 4A (Rs5,999), Xiaomi has released another smartphone called Redmi 4 in the affordable segment. On the back of the phone is a 13MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus technology. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
OS: The device will run on Android 6.0-based MIUI 8 which will soon be upgraded to Android Nougat.
The pre-booking for Xiaomi Redmi 4 ends on May 19, 9 PM and the devices will then have to be collected from Xiaomi's offline store - Mi Home -in Bangalore. It'll be available in three variants, starting at ₹6,999. Moreover, the storage space can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. Connectivity option on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Dual-SIM support and Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity.
As for specs, the Redmi Note 4 packs a mid-range but power-sipping Snapdragon 625 or a MediaTek Helio X20 chip, as well as a 4100mAh battery.
