Nokia 3310 sales start next week in Europe, but price is slightly higher

Seems like the rumours are coming true, as several media report tips that Nokia 3310 (2017) is coming and will be launched on April 28. Nokia Power User website has spotted the device and reported the retail listings too. This feature phone is all set to go on sale in the global markets in this quarter. However, new reports are now revealing that there may have been a good reason for the delay as Nokia is apparently incorporating some brand new technology into the device. Nokia 3310 is a feature phone that will support 3G/4G connectivity.

The Nokia 3310 was phased out a decade ago, tech enthusiasts will remember.

Nokia 3310 expected price is Rs 4,000. After making a debut at the Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC 2017) alongside its brothers Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, Nokia 3310 is finally coming home (no, we are not talking about India yet).

With Nokia 3310, the Finnish company is touted to bring nostalgia back. Although not as smartphone as present days phones, Nokia 3310 still is among the most awaited phones ever.

In an interview with PCMag India, Ajey Mehta, Vice President of HMD Global in India admitted, "We cover 10s and 1000s of stores and we have our own distributor network, we see that as a huge strength". It has a display size of 2.4-inch and will run on Nokia's proprietary S30+ operating system.

For a year-old startup, HMD Global's ambitious plans of launching the phones in 120 markets at the same time is well, ambitious. According to the IE report, sources had said that the phone will come in limited quantities initially. The Nokia 3310 will be made available in four color variants, which include Warm Red and Yellow, both of which will have a gloss finish, as well as matte-finished Dark Blue and Grey options.

Just sum up, the new Nokia 3310 will be classified as a feature phone. The new Nokia 3310 also sports a 2MP rear camera and comes pre-installed with a new the modern version of the classic "Snake" game.
